Our Christmas Limerick
Our note’s a little different this year,
Kelly’s writing this one, but don’t fear,
She’s funnier than Dad,
So don’t you be sad,
Even wrote it on time, what a dear!
The Guadalupe is where we vacationed,
River side we were peacefully stationed,
Every one got together,
Enjoyed hot Texas weather,
Just might be the perfect combination.
Two hundred and twenty two pieces,
Carburetor kit parts, not Reeses,
So Ron sent the Chevy
Down to the levee
Bumberras Auto, so he gets to stay greaseless.
Ron and Win may need to be consoled,
Their little Timmy turned thirty years old,
Nina threw a surprise,
Partied ‘til the sunrise,
Many great stories of ‘ole Tim were told.
Winnie got that for what she's been itchin'
A makeover job for her kitchen,
Granite counters and tile
Has broadened her smile
Upstairs carpet is the next job she's pitchin'.
We hope this note finds you all in good cheer,
Friends and family, far away and near,
From Ron, Win, and Kel,
Tim and Nina as well!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
